About this Event
Distaff Day, or the day after Epiphany, is a pre-industrial European custom when people picked up their spindle or handwork to resume the endless task of making or mending cloth. Come out and learn the process of spinning by hand using a drop spindle and/or a wheel, and discover the various fibers that make our fabrics. Are you an experienced spinner? Join the fun and bring a project to share!
