Join Christians for Social Action at the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) National Conference in Grand Rapids, MI, as he leads a pre-conference training. The training, titled “Disrupting Injustice: Nonviolent Tactics for Community Defense," will be held on Wednesday, November 5 from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Led by Andre Henry (CSA’s Racial Justice Institute Program Manager), this highly interactive workshop will equip YOU with practical tools for responding to oppression in real time. From role plays to strategy exercises, you will learn how to regulate fear, form human chains, and practice civil resistance in the face of injustice.
At the event, we will also launch our newest resource, Project Confrontation—a practical field guide on nonviolent strategies for community defense. You will receive a free digital copy, with printed copies available onsite.
