Disney’s The Lion King JR. brings the magic of the 1994 animated classic and Tony Award–winning Broadway musical to life in a vibrant stage production. The story follows Simba, a young lion cub destined to become king, whose world is turned upside down after the loss of his father, Mufasa. Fleeing the Pridelands out of fear and guilt caused by his uncle Scar, Simba meets the hilarious Timon and Pumbaa, who teach him the carefree philosophy of “Hakuna Matata.” As he grows, Simba must find the strength to confront his past, embrace his identity, and take his place in the great circle of life. Filled with colorful characters and beloved songs including “Circle of Life,” “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” and “Hakuna Matata,” Disney’s The Lion King JR. is an unforgettable musical adventure perfect for audiences of all ages.
