This tournament is in the Constructed (Core) format. Each player must bring one deck to the event which they have built ahead of time. Constructed decks must contain at least 60 cards. There is no maximum deck size, but a player must be able to shuffle their deck in a timely manner without assistance. Constructed decks must not contain cards from more than two ink colors. For example, if a deck contains Amber and Amethyst cards, it must not contain any Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, or Steel cards. Constructed decks must not contain more than four of a single card as identified by its full English card name. Character cards with different subtitles are considered different cards for purposes of this rule. For example, a deck may contain up to four copies of Ariel – On Human Legs as well as up to four copies of Ariel – Spectacular Singer. Cards from, Shimmering Skies, Azurite Sea, Archazia’s Island, Reign of Jafar, Fabled, Whipsers in the Well and Winterspell are legal for play.
You must use the same deck for the duration of the event.
Officially banned cards are not permitted at this event.
This is a Swiss-style tournament. Each round is 60-minutes in length. Each round is played in the Best-of-3 Format. The number of rounds in the tournament will be dependent on the number of attendees. Playoff rounds will be played after the Swiss rounds including players with the highest standings. The playoffs are single-elimination rounds until one undefeated player is remaining as the tournament champion. Playoff rounds will be played in a “Best-of 3” match up. Number of rounds and top cut depends on total attendance:
8 players: 3 rounds, no cut
9-16 players: 4 rounds, cut to top 4
17+ players: 5 rounds, cut to top 8

1st place: Winterspell Champion playmat, Alt Art Foil Card
2nd – 8th places: Alt Art Foil Card
All players will receive an Alt Art Non-Foil card. In addition to the official prizing, booster packs or product equivalent to entry fees will be included in the prize pool for each registered player in the event and distributed amongst all players. Additional prizing and promos may be added on and announced on the day of the event.
