College students and faculty are invited to a Virtual Conversation on Wednesday, November 19th at 4-5pm on the campus of University of Central Oklahoma. Filmmakers Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, experts Christopher Brown and Maggie Blackhawk, and moderator Patrick J. Egan will talk about American Revolution history, the film, and its relevance today. The American Revolution: A Story 250 Years in the Making premiers on PBS stations on Nov 16th at 7pm central.
The free event is hosted by the University of Central Oklahoma Department of History and the Edmond History Museum in the Bob Burke’s First Amendment Screening Room #120 in the Communication Building. Seating is first-come, first-served for this one-hour event. Plan to arrive at least 20 minutes early.
