About this Event
Why do some people bring energy and positivity to work while others seem disengaged? This seminar explores the visible characteristics—attitude and energy—that shape how individuals behave in everyday situations. You’ll learn how to recognise the four key levels of energy investment across your organisation, what they tell you about motivation, and how to use these insights to get the best from your team.
You’ll also gain practical tools for understanding your own behavioural patterns, helping you choose the right moments for decision‑making, difficult conversations or high‑impact tasks. Whether your organisation is going through major change or simply day‑to‑day demands, this session gives you a clearer picture of why people react the way they do—and how leaders can respond effectively.
Led by David Scott, Senior Work‑Based Learning Tutor and Programme Lead for the Senior Leader Apprenticeship at Leeds Trinity University. David draws on extensive experience in leadership, organisational development and complex change management.
As always, there will be plenty of time to network with other business professionals before and after the session.
