Join the St. Louis County Parks and Recreation Historical Staff and Park Rangers for a day at Fort Belle Fontaine to learn about the site’s history. The Lewis and Clark State Historic Site will be there with a pirogue just like Lewis and Clark used on the Expedition. In addition, an encampment will be set up for visitors to see how men lived on the frontier. The Nature Institute will provide insight on local plants. There will be a representative to discuss what wildlife people may have seen in the region.
