Qigong (pronounced CHEE-gung) is an ancient Chinese energy practice that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques, and focused intention to cultivate health, healing, and increased vitality.Often referred to as a “moving meditation,” the slow gentle movements of Qigong are accessible to anyone, regardless of ability or physical challenges.
In this workshop, you will learn the basic principles of Qigong and its potential health benefits. You will explore breathing techniques and practice some simple qigong movements to discover the Qi within and bring harmony to the mind, body, and spirit.
Please wear comfortable clothes. A signed release form is required to participate.
Celeste Montgomery, Certified Qigong Instructor
Celeste is a certified instructor of Wuji Hundun Qigong, Organ Cleansing (Zang Fu Gong) Qigong, and Supreme Science Qigong, and is a Level Two Reiki practitioner. She has personally studied with Senior Qigong Teacher Francesco Garripoli, Master Mingtong Gu, and Ed Howard. She continuously seeks to deepen her own personal practice and introduce the benefits of Qigong to others.
Introduced to Qigong in 2017, Celeste began practicing daily and experienced immediate and long-term benefits, including release and clearing of stress, joint pain, depression, and emotional trauma, and the establishment of calmness, improved clarity of mind, and a greater sensitivity to energy. These experiences motivate her to share this deeply profound practice with others through teaching.
