About this Event
In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore how our attachment styles are formed and wired into our subconscious, often shaping the way we experience connection, conflict, and closeness without us even realizing it.
Together we’ll unpack the relational “dance” that can happen between people — why one person may reach for connection while the other pulls away, and how these patterns develop.
We’ll also explore questions many of us were never taught how to answer:
• What are emotions actually for, and what do we do with them?
• How can we communicate honestly without escalating conflict?
• What is the difference between boundaries and needs?
• How can we begin shifting patterns that keep relationships stuck?
This experience is Jesus-informed, focusing on the relational design we were created for and the hope that attachment patterns can be not only understood, but also repatterned.
Participants will leave with greater clarity about their relational patterns and practical insight into how healthier, more secure connection can begin to grow.
What You’ll Learn
• How attachment styles are formed and how early relational experiences wire patterns into our nervous system that influence how we connect, communicate, and respond to conflict.
• How attachment influences every area of life — including romantic relationships, friendships, family dynamics, work relationships, and even the way we see ourselves.
• Why relationships can feel like a dance — understanding the common push–pull dynamics that happen between attachment patterns.
• How to work with emotions instead of being overwhelmed by them, and how emotions can become helpful signals rather than something to avoid or suppress.
• How to communicate more clearly and safely, even when conversations feel difficult or emotionally charged.
• The difference between boundaries and needs, and how understanding both can create healthier, more life-giving relationships.
• Why the problem is often the attachment patterns — not the people, and how understanding these patterns opens the door for compassion, growth, and change.
• Practical insight into how old relational patterns can begin to shift, moving toward more secure, connected relationships.
