Join us and explore the secrets of Penn Station and Grand Central on a walking tour! Uncover artifacts of the original Penn Station hiding in plain sight, experience the new Moynihan Train Hall, and then discover even more secrets at Grand Central Terminal!

The tour will end at Grand Central Terminal (not the start location).

Highlights:

• Understand the history of Penn Station and compare your exact locations with what was originally located there in the famously demolished structure.

• Uncover remnants and artifacts lost to time from the original Penn Station, and explore the new Moynihan Train Hall while learning about plans for the busiest train station in the country.

• Compare Penn Station to Grand Central Terminal, where we will arrive via the subway (exploring subway secrets along the way).

About the tour guide:

Hi! I am a big believer in big cities and fascinated by the urban transportation infrastructure that supports such levels of density and dynamism.

I am from NYC and I have previously worked for NYC Transit. I studied urban planning at school, and I am a licensed NYC tour guide, as well as an AICP certified urban planner. I am also a member of the Guides Association of NYC (GANYC).

I currently work on NYC infrastructure projects, advocate for public transit, and serve on the Board of Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT).
