📢 VIS將舉辦《DISCOVER TAIPEI》新書發表會！創立於2019年的VIS實驗教育機構，以源自加拿大麥克馬斯特大學（McMaster University）醫學院的PBL（專案／問題導向式學習）為核心教學模式。透過結合PBL與走讀教育，VIS重新定義了歷史課程，讓學習變得既有趣又具啟發性！
什麼是《DISCOVER TAIPEI》？
這堂課引導學生走出教室現地觀察、發掘問題、進行討論，不斷深究資訊線索、尋找解答。過程中逐步培養學生史料分析、思辨、觀察及轉譯能力，讓學生重新思考自己與所居住城市的關係。接著，規劃出兼具人文關懷、田野研究與當代觀點的導覽路徑，以英語清楚陳述觀點，並在生活中實踐導覽技能，接受跨文化的交流與碰撞，開啟更多的反思。

📢 VIS is hosting the book launch of “DISCOVER TAIPEI”!
Founded in 2019, VIS Experimental Education adopts the innovative PBL (Project/Problem-Based Learning) approach, inspired by McMaster University’s Medical School in Canada. By combining PBL with experiential learning, VIS has transformed history education into an engaging and thought-provoking journey.
What is “Discover Taipei” about?
This course guides students out of the classroom to observe their surroundings, identify problems, and engage in discussions. Through deep exploration of information and analysis of historical materials, students develop critical thinking, observational, and interpretive skills. They are encouraged to rethink their relationship with the city they live in and design tour routes that integrate humanities, field research, and contemporary perspectives. Students present their findings in English, practice their guiding skills in real-life scenarios, and experience cross-cultural exchanges that foster reflection and growth.
