April Monthly Meetup: For this monthly meetup we will gather at D-Town Farm, an amazing 7 acre farm project by Detroit Black Community Food Sovereignty Network (DBCSFN) nestled right here in Rouge Park!
We will embark on a guided tour of D-Town Farm and support them in a hands-on activity! Come ready to explore this section of Rouge Park and see regenerative farming in action! Go home with a plant start grown on the farm! Learn more about D-Town and DBCSFN here.

Rouge park is HUGE with many different green spaces that offer different vibes, wildlife and inspiration. Many people have heard of the park but don't know where to hang out or what activities to get into while there. Lets explore these different spaces in the park together! .
Discover Rouge Park : Monthly Meetup
What it is: A monthly social gathering in the park with different low pressure activities. Every month will be a different location and different activity.
Who is it for: All ages, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts to mingle, participate in an activity and expand their awareness of what Rouge Park has to offer.
Where: different areas of the park including Lahser Marsh, hiking trails, Joe Prance Rec Area, etc.
When: (mostly) third Sundays of the month from 12pm-2pm. Some will be in. the evening but we will let you know beforehand. Each monthly meetup has it's own registration.
What to expect: Show up and join other outdoor enthusiasts for an outdoor activity in the park! Come make a friend and be social or just hang out and participate! Up to you! But there will be some snacks!
What participants leave with: Deepened understanding of Rouge Park and hopefully a new friend!
