Owls, Tracks & Twilight Treasures (Winter Edition)Bundle up and join us for a peaceful and magical family-friendly evening hike as Price Park transitions from daylight into dusk. January is a beautiful time to explore the woods—cool air, quiet trails, and leaf-free trees make it easier to spot signs of wildlife often hidden in warmer months.
Our favorite naturalist, Dennis, will lead the hike with stories, sounds, and discoveries along the trail. Listen closely for owls calling at twilight (and don’t miss Dennis’s famous owl impersonations—you never know who might call back!). Along the way, we’ll look for deer tracks, signs of beaver activity, winter birds, and other clues that reveal how animals live and move through the park during the colder months.
This relaxed hike is perfect for curious kids and grown-ups alike—a wonderful way to experience nature together on a winter evening. Flashlights are encouraged, questions are welcome, and discovery is guaranteed.
