Discover Photography Course starting 20th July 2026We are taking enrolments now!
If you've just bought your first camera, or if you're stuck using Auto mode, the Discover Photography course is a perfect starting point. This course covers all of the basics of how to use your camera, to help you gain confidence to use all of your camera's features to improve your photographs. We have our Discover Photography Course starting on Monday the 20th of July 2026, held at the Fletcher Cole Hall McGarvey Road on Corner of Barry Avenue, Whakatane. The Course will be run by Award Winning Photographer Troy Baker and will run for 6 weeks, with 1 session per week which will go for 1 hour & 30minutes starting at 6.30pm

• Shutter Speeds
• Apertures
• DOF - Depth of Field
• Your built in flash / Add on flash guns / Flash Modes / LED Lights / Fill Flash and the benefits of off camera flash (Practical)
