About this Event
Old Man and the River (for children ages 3+)
A heartwarming and hilarious tale for children and their grownups!
In a storybook world where a river sings, trees laugh, and curious dragonflies come to visit lives a grumpy little old man. Every day is the same and he likes it this way – until one day, a magical creature leaps into his world and everything changes!
Performed without words using artful tabletop puppetry and evocative music, Old Man and the River has been nominated for multiple Dora Awards and has toured extensively across Canada.
While the performance of Old Man and the River is without words, the overall presentation is enriched by a highly engaging and interactive pre-show and post-show programme that educates and inspires young audience members.
Playing for one performance only.
