About this Event
Join us for an open house at Embark Center, a microschool for students ages 9–18 in Leesburg, Virginia.
This event is an opportunity to learn about our community, hear directly from students, and see how Embark Center supports young people in developing independence, leadership, and emotional intelligence.
At Embark Center, students grow into confident, capable people in a community built on trust, collaboration, and respect.
Here students learn to:
• lead discussions
• resolve conflicts through restorative practices
• pursue meaningful projects
• take ownership of their time and goals
Along the way they develop skills that matter both now and in adulthood — leadership, emotional intelligence, resilience, collaboration, and independence.
During the Open House You Will:
• Meet Embark Center students
• Hear from them during a student panel
• Learn how the community works
• Tour the space and ask questions
Families who attend will also have the opportunity to schedule tours and optional trial days, so students can experience Embark Center firsthand before deciding if it’s the right fit.
