Monday is a full day dedicated to the medieval city of Durham. You canwander ancient, winding streets, soak up the history, and stand in awe of the magnificent Norman Castle & Cathedral. Tuesday takes us to the Beamish Museum. This sprawling, open-air site in County Durham recreates life in the Northeast across different eras, complete with reconstructed homes and costumed interpreters. On Wednesday, we take a scenic drive through the Durham Dales to the market town
of Barnard Castle. In the afternoon, we'll explore the
incredible Bowes Museum: a grand, French-style château
that houses a priceless collection, including the
mesmerising, Silver Swan.
