🎤Cael Dueñas-Lara (@caelidl) is a Ninth grader and second-generation Mexican-American, born, raised and currently residing in the vibrant and diverse community of East Oakland. Cael is the 2025 Oakland Youth Poet Laureate and was a 2024 OYPL Finalist.
Open Mic Guidelines:
1. Each performer is allowed to perform 1-2 pieces (poems, songs, etc) but 7-8 mins max.
2. We will have a bluetooth speaker for backing tracks but be patient with the tech.
3. Keep your content somewhat appropriate for all ages
4. Please support the cafe with a purchase (or 2).
