Discover Bound by Nature, an exhibition by artists Anasuya and Siobhan Djukic. The exhibition runs from March 6th to March 28th at the Minto Arts Gallery in Harriston. This showcase beautifully unites two distinct artistic styles. Both styles are deeply inspired by the beauty and fluidity of nature.
Join us for the opening reception on March 6th. It will happen from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the gallery. The location is conveniently on the 3rd floor of the Harriston Public Library. Anasuya – Anasuya is captivated by the mesmerizing dance of colors. They have emerged as a leading figure in resin and fluid art. The unpredictable flow of fluid mediums inspires them. With a background in computer science, they seamlessly blend technical precision with boundless creativity, pushing artistic boundaries.
Inspired by nature’s beauty, human emotions, and the interplay of light and shadow, their work evokes deep emotion and curiosity. Each piece tells a unique story, inviting viewers on a journey of exploration and introspection. Through innovation and passion, Anasuya transforms liquid movement into striking, dynamic compositions that capture moments of ephemeral beauty.
Siobhan Djukic – Nature-Inspired Floral Art
Born and raised in the heart of Ireland, Siobhan grew up immersed in nature, wandering through forests, fields, and lakeshores. These early experiences shaped her creative spirit, planting the seeds for her love of art.
Now based in Ontario, she transforms those cherished memories into vibrant, textured floral pieces that radiate joy and positivity. Using bold colours and creamy impasto techniques, her work has a distinct 3D quality—some even say it looks edible! She creates three-dimensional pieces using bold colours, modelling paste, and mixed media. Radiating vibrancy and a playful energy that captivates the senses.
