Discosailing: September Participant sign up

We are looking for individuals to participate in the final performance of Discosailing: A Ballet on Water by Rasheed Araeen at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Friday 27 September 2024. Please purchase a (free) ticket to register your interest and we will contact you directly via the email address provided to confirm the timing of your performance slot and more information ahead of the event.

Conceived in the 1970’s by the Karachi born, London-based artist, Discosailing is a unique meditative movement somewhere between floating sculpture and performance. By reserving a space, I can confirm that I comply with the below conditions:

• I am over 18 years old
• I am available at 4:30pm for a 30 minute slot
• I am available to arrive at 3:45 to sign in and sign any other necessary documentation.
• I am willing and able to wear the sail provided.
• I do not exceed the maximum weight (116kg / 18st2).
• I am not pregnant
• I will not participate if I am under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• I do not have any medical conditions, injuries or concerns regarding my physical fitness (if you do have concerns, you should consult with your doctor).
• I agree to follow all instructions given by event organisers and staff.

Please be aware that you will be asked to complete a full Health and Safety Waiver on 27 September 2024.
