Take a break from screens and busy schedules and spend quality time together outdoors! Join a Park Ranger at David Crockett State Park to Disconnect to Reconnect on a family hike along the Turkey Ridge Trail.
This special hike is designed for parents and children to enjoy nature together. We’ll also celebrate the grand opening of “The Box Turtle” Storybook Trail, sponsored by the Junior Auxiliary of Lawrence County!
Meet at Pavilion 1 at 10:00 AM and remember to wear closed toe shoes. Each family will get to take home a small activity to complete together after the event. Please respond “going” to this event if you plan to attend so we can have an accurate participation count.
