About this Event
A warm welcome and a chance to meet other local disabled people with performances by disabled artists.
There will be speeches, exciting performances and BSL intepreters from 1pm - 4pm.
Tickets for this event are £3, but we are also fundraising to support local disabled people. When you reserve your ticket you can choose entrance ticket only, entrance plus donation or donation only (this is for those unable to attend who would still like to support!)
Please do not feel any pressure to make a donation unless you are in a position to do so. We are fundraising for Radical Reset to continue to produce events. This will be the only event for this year but next year we're hoping to put on more than one!
Important:
Disabled people have a higher risk of getting covid badly or developing long covid, and a higher risk of severe effects from viral illnesses generally. With that in mind, we are asking people to mask at the event if they are able to.
There will be FFP2 masks available FREE at the event which are very effective at protecting the person wearing them and the people around them. There will also be surgical masks with a clear panel available also FREE which unfortunately do not provide as much protection as the FFP2 masks, but would hopefully make it possible for hard-of-hearing people to lipread.
There will be people at the event distributing masks who can answers questions about viral precautions and masking. There will also be two air purifiers with a HEPA filter at the event, cleaning the air and reducing the risk of viral spread. Please try to test for Covid before attending the event and stay at home if you are positive for Covid. At home Covid tests often don’t pick up infections very well so please also stay home if you have a high temperature, cough or sore throat, even if you test negative.
