Disability Justice: Crip Camp Movie Night!

Neurodiverse Universe and San Jose Peace and Justice Center are hosting a one night showing of Crip Camp. What was a summer camp for disbaled teenagers became an incubator for the faces that would lead the movement to have society recognize the needs and wants of disabled people in the US. This is a movie about how when people build community, they become a vehicle for social change.

There will be a post-movie reflection and social afterwards. This is an opportunity to meet people and learn how to view the world from a disabled lens.

Lights refreshments will be provided!

Parking and Accessibility: We have a small parking lot in the back that is reserved for accessibile parking only. There is a wheelchair left available. Parking space may be limited. Alternate parking options include on street parking or at the SJSU North Garage.
