Madeline Wissler (she/her) is a senior at Clark University and active participant in the Worcester creative scene. She has written poetry for as long as she can remember, her nana boasting poems written in crayon from her childhood. Her poetry encapsulates the grief of and the love for coming-of-age, self-reflection and growth, and the tumultuous realities of young womanhood. She draws upon music, Greek mythology, and storytelling to convey stream-of-conscious narratives and energizing flows in English and French. She has been away for 4 months studying human rights, social change, and cultural transformations in Rabat, Morocco, and she can’t wait to share what she has written while being away!
