Bow Valley alpinist Maarten Van Haeren will join us at this year's Dirtbag Café to talk about his recent ascent of Ultar Sar (7,388m) in Pakistan and other pivotal climbs he has done over the years. Van Haeren's travels have taken him beyond Western Canada to Nepal, Pakistan, the Yukon, Quebec and Scotland where he has established new routes over the last decade.
