About the show:
Dirk Quinn is the guitarist for the jazz-funk outfit that coincidentally bears his name. Based out of Philadelphia, the group travels extensively, boasting well over 2 decades of relentless performing. Alongside longtime members Rory Flynn (bass) and Cody Munzert (keys), as well as a dynamic lineup of talented drummers and percussionists, the band has diligently crafted a unique and sincere style that truly transcends genre - blending groove, improvisation, and soul into a sound that feels both refined and loose.
Their infectious energy and musical chemistry consistently captivate diverse audiences, with fans ranging from the beard-stroking jazz heads to the jam-band wanderers. Their extended improvisations are rich with great melodic sensibilities and playful rhythmic experimentation - this is music to awaken and uplift the soul!

A Listening Room Experience
Hermit Woods is excited to bring talented artists from New England and beyond to perform for you. Each performance will provide you with an intimate, up-close, and personal experience with the performing artists. We ask our audience please refrain from talking during the featured show. Your silence will allow the artists and the audience to immerse themselves in the experience, which is not otherwise possible in larger, noisier environments.
Complimentary wine tasting from 5:30 to 6:00. The Loft Doors open at 6:00 for dinner. We encourage you to arrive early for our wine tasting and enjoy food and wine before the show. The kitchen will close at 7:00 pm. When the featured artists takes the stage we will ask that the audience remain quiet during the performance. After the show, we invite you to interact with the artists and purchase any music or merchandise offerings if available.
