This training session is for those who work in an organisation’s marketing and communications team or, as part of their job, use direct marketing to assist with an organisation’s overall marketing strategy.
Why attend?
Direct marketing is one of the most common issues the Supervisory Authority (the Information Commissioner’s Office (the ICO)) regularly deals with, and, on many occasions, it issues penalty fines to organisations for failing to carry out direct marketing in accordance with the data protection legislation. This training session will discuss the requirements set out in the data protection legislation to enable organisations to avoid incurring penalty fines from the ICO.
