Join the IMNH as we venture to Wyoming and assist teams working to dig up dinosaur mummies and bone beds. This is a great way to get hands-on experience prospecting for dinosaur fossils as well as working in an active dinosaur quarry. This camp is for teens and adults to receive training in paleontology field techniques in order to become active volunteers in the field with the IMNH in the future. No experience is necessary. Cost includes transportation, instruction, and all meals on-site. Participants must supply their own camping gear and are responsible for meals during travel to/from the site.
Space is limited, registration is required. Museum members receive a 10% discount.
