Kick Off Black History Month at Urban Luxe Café
We’re starting Black History Month by celebrating Chicago’s rich history and culture in a way that’s both educational and inspiring.
Join us on Friday, February 7, for Dinner with Dilla, featuring Sherm Dilla, a Chicago urban historian and owner of Mahogany Tours. Dilla will deliver a dynamic, relatable presentation about Chicago’s history like you’ve never heard before. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the show begins promptly at 7 PM at 2911 E. 79th St., Chicago, IL.
🎤 After Dilla’s presentation, the night continues with a Chicago-Themed Spoken Word Open Mic! We’re challenging poets and storytellers to share pieces inspired by Chicago and its culture.
