🍀🎬 Dinner + Movie Night — A First for Us! 🎬🍀We’re excited to launch our very first dinner-and-a-movie partnership, and it’s a perfect match. Join us Thursday, March 26 starting at 6 PM for a special collaboration with NoDa’s Irish pub @mchalespub
Here’s the plan:
🍽 6:00 PM – Dinner at McHale’s
Enjoy a main course and dessert at the pub to kick off the evening.
🎥 Then at 8:00 PM head over to Independent Picture House for a screening of the cult classic “The Commitments.”
🎬About the film:
Jimmy Rabbitte, just a thick-ya out of school, gets a brilliant idea: to put a soul band together in Barrytown, his slum home in north Dublin. First he needs musicians and singers: things slowly start to click when he finds three fine-voiced females virtually in his back yard, a lead singer (Deco) at a wedding, and, responding to his ad, an aging trumpet player, Joey “The Lips” Fagan.
