Linda Kundtz and her husband, Ralf, reached the southernmost travel of any Akron Torch member in a recent trip to Antarctica. Ralph will discuss this fascinating region at the November meeting in this day of world climate change. Now a busy place, it is one of the few parts of the world without sustaining permanent inhabitants. So, prepare for winter in Akron with a view of “real” winter.The Akron Torch Club is an organization of professionals and professionally minded people who meet to dine, then listen to and discuss a talk. Torch Club meets the fourth Wednesday of most months at 6 p.m., costs $38 and is open to guests.
