What happens when you remove the one sense you rely on most?
You might slow down or lean in. Things might taste, feel or sound different. You might find yourself suddenly, surprisingly present.
Join Innova Collective for an evening of intentional darkness. Innova’s main room will be fully darkened as you’re guided to your seat. We'll move together through a sensory feast of textures and flavors from around the world. Then we’ll settle into an intimate acoustic concert with live guitar, voice, and maybe something unexpected.
You’ll have the chance to share observations in a group discussion and to sing along, or sit back and soak up your surroundings in an entirely new way. All you need to bring is curiosity and a little trust.
A few things to know before you arrive:
Please use the restroom before coming. We do have facilities and a volunteer guide if needed, but the logistics are an adventure in themselves. Phones must be fully powered off for the duration of the evening, as even a notification screen breaks the darkness for everyone. Please arrive 15 minutes early since we’ll be seating everyone at once and can't easily seat latecomers once we begin. If you have a food allergy, email [email protected] before registering and we'll do our best to accommodate you. A final note: this experience can be disorienting or emotional — that's part of it, and you're in good hands.
