This event will offer a prix fixe menu ($55* per person). *Price includes iced tea, tap water, soft drinks, American coffee. It does not include wine, beer, spirits, Pellegrino, Panna, espresso or cappuccino. These can be added and paid extra at the restaurant.

ROMA, an Italian eatery in Rice Village, is Houston's premier Italian restaurant, known for its homemade traditional pastas, its creative contemporary Italian cuisine, and its fine wine program. ROMA was called one of "Houston's Best New Restaurants" by CultureMap when it first opened in 2019. Houstonia magazine has called it one of their editors' favorite Italian restaurants in the city.

In 2020, ROMA launched what would become one of the city's most successful virtual wine dinner programs, often 'hosting" more than 80 guests weekly in their homes as Italian winemakers joined from Italy. That has inspired Shanon Scott to take his wine program to the next level. "Our goal is to make ROMA one of Houston's top wine destinations by the end of 2021," Scott said.

Kevin is an imaginative culinary genius with nearly 25 years of experience in the world of food and hospitality operations. He began cooking as a child and quickly developed a passion for the culinary world. His tenure includes training under the late Tony Vallone along with the opening of numerous restaurants including Aquarium Restaurant concepts, Tony's Restaurant at Greenway Plaza and Post Oak, and Oceanaire. He is most well-known for his time at Eleven XI Restaurant where he enamored guests with his distinctive creations. Kevin spent four years dedicating a majority of his time to traveling around the world leading disaster relief feeding programs where he prepared meals for tens of thousands of people recovering from hurricanes and other tragedies. Over the last year, he has consulted for a myriad of hospitality businesses across the country. He continues to shine in the kitchen where his creative flare impresses all six senses. Kevin is known for teetering on the line between fine dining and playfulness where varying palettes can unite. He is currently the executive chef at Roma Ristorante in Houston, TX.
