About this Event
The University of Manchester Centre for Fusion Energy
Join us for a series of hands‑on workshops exploring how digital twins, experimental automation, and immersive visualisation can support next‑generation fusion research.
This workshop introduces emerging digital capabilities for fusion energy in an accessible, practical way. Participants will work with prototype integrations for experimental control systems, experience immersive workflows in a VR lab, and visit a hydrogen‑permeation facility to see how virtual models connect to real fusion‑materials experiments.
The event takes place over two days (18-19 March 2026), and will start at 10:00 and end at 16:00 both days.
This event is open to the public.
