About this Event
Digital Intelligence for an Embodied Architecture is the fourth seminar of the Architectural Logics for Emergent Contexts (ALEC) research group, co-organised with the Architecture, Representation and Computation (ARC) research group and hosted at La Salle Campus Barcelona. It brings together architects, technologists and theorists to critically examine the diverse contemporary contexts in which our built environment is embedded.
In this edition, digital logics will be explored to understand the ways in which they are reshaping architectural practice, creative processes, material engagement and spatial experience. The seminar contends that digital intelligence should serve not merely as a tool for optimisation, but as an active, embodied force within architectural thinking and making, one in which computation and design reciprocally inform each other.
