About this Event
Different Lives, Same City: A Las Vegas Conversation
Las Vegas is more than the Strip—it’s a city powered by people from different cultures, industries, and lived experiences. From hospitality and healthcare to education and entrepreneurship, residents navigate fast-paced environments where communication, respect, and understanding are essential—but not always easy.
Hosted by Dr. LaTonya Miller, this interactive workshop creates space for honest conversation about what it really means to live and work in a city where worlds collide daily.
Participants will explore how long hours, high-pressure workplaces, cultural diversity, and unspoken assumptions impact the way we communicate, respond, and connect with others. Through real-life scenarios and guided discussion, you’ll gain tools to manage difficult conversations, reduce misunderstandings, and communicate with clarity across differences.
This experience is designed for professionals who are ready to move beyond surface-level interactions and build stronger, more respectful relationships—whether on the job, in leadership roles, or within the community over some Human Bean Coffee and refreshments.
In a city where everyone’s path looks different, learning how to understand each other isn’t optional—it’s essential.
Join the conversation. Show up differently. Lead with awareness.
