Welcome to Die to Run, the ultimate test of endurance, strategy, and a little bit of luck!This is a last-person-standing backyard ultra with a massive twist. We are located at the beautiful Beechcraft Airport Hangar at the Hatbox Sports Complex in Muskogee.
HERE'S THE TWIST: Instead of a standard 4.167-mile loop, the distance is decided by chance!
Every hour, a six-sided die is rolled to determine the distance for the next loop, ranging from one to six miles.(no 5s or 6s for the first 3 hours)
You must complete that distance within the hour to continue.
The course is a flat and fast out-and-back on the paved Hatbox path.
The race continues, hour after hour, until only one runner is left standing.
All runners will have access to our indoor "basecamp" at the hangar, complete with bathrooms and electrical outlets to set up your gear.
