Welcome the season with a Dickens Brunch featuring a live reading of A Christmas Carol from Alaska's own Kevin T. Bennett. This classic novella by Charles Dickens follows the journey of Ebenezer Scrooge—a miserly man whose icy heart begins to thaw after he’s visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come. As each spirit reveals powerful visions of his life and legacy, Scrooge is transformed from a cold recluse into someone who embraces generosity, joy, and the true spirit of Christmas.
Guests will be greeted with warm, freshly baked cinnamon rolls waiting at the table, setting the tone for a cozy and indulgent morning. Two drinks are included with each ticket, allowing you to sip and savor throughout the experience. Enjoy classic brunch favorites alongside house specialties including our signature smoked salmon eggs benedict, crafted with care in our kitchens.
This event is in our beautiful Barrel Room, decked out for the holidays. It is an intimate setting for this private reading and relaxing holiday brunch.
The story's read time is roughly two hours plus an intermission.
