The Dick, Kerr Ladies Cup

ยท Hosted at the world-class facilities at the University of Central Lancashire, UCLan Sports Arena Preston on 3G and astroturf pitches (not cages).
ยท Qualified referees, FA rules.
ยท Teams of 6-A-Side (squad of up to 9 players with flexi-substitutions)
ยท Two age groups - Over 40s and Over 50s
ยท D.O.B. of players must reach the aged 40 or 50 (depending on the age group) on or before the 31/08/26
ยท Entry fee ยฃ80 per team
ยท Closing date for entries is 1st June 2026

Our tournament will feature:
1. Group Stage Matches: Teams will compete in a round-robin format within groups, allowing ample playing time for everyone. Each team will play against every other team in their group, accumulating points based on results (win, draw, loss).
2. Knockout Rounds: The top teams from each group will advance to the knockout Cup stage and the teams placed lower in the group will go into the Plate stage. Knockout matches will be single elimination, with teams progressing to the next round based on the result of each match.
3. Grand Final: The tournament will culminate in an exhilarating final match, pitting the remaining two teams in each competition against each other for the Cup and Plate title.
4. Awards Ceremony: Following the final match, an awards ceremony will be held to honor the tournament champions, as well as recognise outstanding individual performances and sportsmanship.
