About this Event

?Social, Share and Stitch your story!

One word, one theme, each month. November theme is "WARMTH".

As the city gets colder, what memories of “warmth” do you carry from home? How was your first winter here? What is winter like in your home country?

A monthly craft circle series where participants engage with textiles, through sewing, embroidery and more, as connective practices to explore and share personal and collective stories of migration, belonging, and transformation.

Each month invites reflection and creative expression around a single theme rooted in diasporic experience. While we focus on embroidery and sewing, we may also explore crochet, knitting, beading, weaving and other textile practices.

✨Open to all levels
??Everyone is welcome (even if you’re not part of a diasporic community)
?Pay-What-You-Can (suggested $15)
?Materials provided, or bring your own project.
