With a voice as limitless as the prairie sky and a knack for storytelling, Winnipeg singer-sonwriter Diaphanie draws new breath into the folk tradition blending it with country, jazz, and something uniquely her own. Diaphanie - aka Heather Thomas during her time singing with JUNO Award winner Begonia - is known for her joyful connection with live audiences and breath-taking performances across Canada and Europe. Expect to hear heart-rending songwriting and a voice with a rich, fluid, and ethereal tone that floats effortlessly from intimate to effusive. Saskatoon’s Kasia Leigh Leonard plays the opening set.
