A longtime resident of southwest Missouri, Diana Yeager began writing poetry in her late teens while struggling with low self-esteem. During her first years of college, words turned dark as she fought depression, feelings of fear and failure; she began self-harming to get relief from emotional pain; and discontinued writing poetry shortly thereafter. She was able to overcome these behaviors 20 years later as God revealed Himself to be the Father she had always craved.
