Bulleit Bourbon is a brand bourbon that is formerly distilled by Four Roses in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. It is a very high rye content bourbon that is marketed as a rough and tumble "Frontier Whiskey that is aged six years. Bulleit is wholly owned by international spirit giant Diageo who has just invested $400 million building a huge distillery in the Louisville suburbs of Shively, Kentucky. Diageo also owns other famous North American whiskies such as Crown Royal, George Dickel, Seagram's 7 and Blade and Bow.

The founder of the current brand Tom Bulleit, a great-great-grandson of the author of the original recipe, Augustus Bulleit states that the original brand was first made in the 1830's. Augustus distilled up until the time of his death in 1860. The original creation was, in fact, a rye whiskey with almost seventy percent rye grain.

During this tasting you will try the following bourbons and whiskies; Bulleit Frontier Whiskey, Crown Royal Deluxe Canadian Whisky, George Dickel No. 12 Beige, Seagram's 7 American Blended Whiskey, Bulleit Rye, Crown Royal Regal Apple Whisky, Bulleit Barrel Proof Bourbon, Blade and Bow, Bulleit 10 year-old Bourbon, Crown Royal Maple Whisky, and Barterhouse 20 year-old Orphan Barrel Bourbon.
