Join Councilmember Carlos Garcia and Downtown Phoenix Inc. for a magical movie under the stars Saturday, April 30 from 7-9 p.m. In celebration of Dia de los Niños, bring the kids, blankets, chairs, a picnic or snacks, and head to Civic Space Park for a free screening of Disney’s “Encanto.” It will be subtitled in Spanish.
This is a FREE event, and open to children and families across the Valley!
What is Dia de los Niños? Celebrated on April 30 in Mexico, it’s a special day for children recognized across the world – usually filled with fun activities, gifts and special events.
The goal is to make children feel honored, loved and special, and to remind adults of the importance of childhood.
Dia de los Niños Movie in the Park is proudly presented by Councilmember Carlos Garcia and Downtown Phoenix Inc., with generous support from the Arizona Diamondbacks and Arizona State University.

The easiest, most affordable way to get to Civic Space Park is by light rail. But there’s also an $8-$10 surface lot on the northeast corner of Fillmore Street and Central Avenue, and some limited street parking.
