About this Event
Are you ready to learn how to grow and care for a vegetable garden? Do you love flowers and want to start them on their way to blooming? Do you want to get your hands dirty? We hope so!
Be sure to join in the fun as we start the DGC Sprouts growing season with this planting event. Get your hands dirty as we plant seeds and small plants in our learning garden and learn about growing our own food. We will also distribute mulch around the garden so bring along your muscles too!
Please bring along garden and mulch moving tools, wheel barrels, and gloves if you have them; come prepared to toil in the soil and mulch.
After all the hard work, we'll reward ourselves with delicious pizza to refuel! We’ll eat, rest up and enjoy getting to know each other. Pizza, milk, and lemonade will be provided. Bring along a treat to share if you would like.
You will also go home with plants and seeds to start your very own home gardens.

NOTES:
An adult guardian must accompany all the children.
Registration is required for guests and DGC Sprouts Members to attend the planting day.
Please reserve one ticket per family that will be attending & eating so that we can plan for the pizza and the seedling, plant, and seed giveaways. Reach out to the organizer if you have questions.
We will use Eventbrite emails to send reminders so be sure to allow notification from this organizer when you reserve your ticket.
DGC Sprout membership is highly recommended prior to the event. We need information to plan accordingly for the rest of the season. You won’t want to miss the fun.
