About this Event
Join the DFWYAS Book Club as we dive into The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett, a sharp and imaginative fantasy mystery set in a world shaped by strange sciences, imperial power, and hidden truths. This novel blends intrigue, investigation, and worldbuilding, giving us plenty to unpack around power, loyalty, and the cost of empire. We’ll read the book in three parts, meeting to discuss characters, themes, and theories in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Meeting Schedule (all sessions at 7:00 pm, RSVP required):
- Session 1 – February 18: Start through Chapter 10
- Session 2 – March 4: Chapters 11 through 21
- Session 3 – March 18: Chapters 22 through the end
