ABOUT PICKLR
-PICKLR has 9 regular courts and one skinny court. We’ll have the entire venue. (NOTE: they will have 2 courts for our first hour).
-There is a lounge area with couches and an open bar set up (wine, beer & liquor). YES, OPEN BAR! Each ticket holder gets one free drink courtesy of www.wildspiritstx.com .
-NOTE: Wild Spirits Mobile Bar is a new, local business and providing first round of drinks for FREE. Please be generous and tip the bartender (owners) Stephanie and Adam Carruth.
COURT ASSIGNMENTS/PLAY ORGANIZATION
-Some courts will be assigned for ‘competitive play’: people who are intermediate + players with tournament experience.*
-Some courts will be as ‘social play’: people who are newer to the game or just want to dink around!*
- *Court assignments will be determined after registration closes.
-Each section of courts will use the paddle stacking system from PICKLR.
HIGH LEVEL PLAY
-One court will be designated as THE CHALLENGE COURT.
-Higher level players can go there to turn their games up a notch.
-Winners stay on, split and take on the next challengers.
WHAT IF YOU’VE NEVER PLAYED BEFORE?
-Come anyway!
-COACHING: We will have PPR certified coach(es) on site (giving instruction) to get you started off on the right foot. Paddles are available to test - no equipment needed.
-Depending upon registration, 1 (or more) courts will be assigned to BRAND NEW PLAYERS (even if you’ve never picked up a paddle).
-If you're a new player, this is perfect way to start your pickleball obsession with new friends.
FRESHENING UP
-Picklr has locker rooms if you’d like to freshen up before dinner.
-Bring your own padlock.
AFTER PARTY
-7-9:30pm
-We will move on down a few store fronts to CRISTINA’S MEXICAN RESTAURANT for dinner and more mingling, 7-9:30pm / 2811 Craig Drive Suite 110.
- Please RSVP Dinner –we need an accurate headcount.
REFUND POLICY
-If you cancel within 7 days before the event, NO REFUNDS.
-If you cancel more than 7 days before the event, you'll be refunded your total minus $5 processing fee).
-Refunds will be process AFTER the event.
NEED TO KNOW AT REGISTRATION
Indicate your play level:
-A: Advanced: Plays 3+ times a week and can play 3+ hours. The King of the Court format is usually on the top courts. Have played in tournaments.
-B - Intermediate: Plays leagues and/or takes classes regularly. Attends open play and can manage dinking, third shot drops, and playing with more advanced hard-hitting , players.
-C- Advanced Beginner: Have been playing for a few months. Knows how to score correctly and confidently and can keep the ball in play.
-D - Newbie: Just starting to learn the game, have played fewer than 10 times.
ICE BREAKER
-We will put a thought-provoking question on your name badge.
-Please consider what question you'd like to be asked by a new friend.... 'ask me about the time I....(fill in the blank)'
DOOR PRIZES & SWAG
-We will have door prizes and some swag for purchase made available by Alison Freeman @thedinkablecollection.

TICKET SALES ARE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS.
TICKETS MAY ONLY BE RESERVED/PURCHASED ON EVENT BRITE.

WAIVER FOR THE PICKLR
The Picklr has it's own waiver. After you purchase your tickets, you'll receive instructions as to how to complete the waiver (if you've never been there) using their app. Stay tuned.
