Devours is the underground synth-pop project of Vancouver-based DIY artist Jeff Cancade (he/they). Over the last decade, Devours has earned a cult following for their "confessional and confrontational" electronic music, blending glitchy synth-pop with diaristic lyrics about masculinity, identity, and the absurdity of middle age. Known for high-energy performances and a "pseudo-goth" stage aesthetic, Cancade remains a vital, authentic voice in the Canadian independent scene.

WANTS: Blending propulsive synths and emotionally charged songwriting, Calgary-based WANTS is the New Wave and Synth-Pop project of Jeebs Nabil and Tom White. Their 2025 album, In Plain Sight, offers a 1980s electronic-inspired experience exploring themes of disconnection, intimacy, and survival. Drawing from new wave and modern goth, WANTS delivers a live set defined by crystalline analog melodicism and the moody precision of classic synth-driven textures.
