We provide a safe and welcoming environment for people living with Dementia in the community.The session is for 5 hours (10am-3pm) and includes a light lunch, snacks, drinks and all activities including entertainment.
Sessions are personally created with each attendee in mind and are designed to improve all aspects of wellbeing through mentally & physically stimulating activities. Music and sensory activities play a huge part in our sessions and the friendly environment allows for social interaction with others. From the minute that our attendees arrive at our day centre, we are in their world and they are encouraged to express themselves freely as they are surrounded by a team that truly understand Dementia.
Carers are welcome to join us, but are not required to stay as this service is designed to provide 5 hours of respite.

Hermitage House in Thrapston is a modern and luxurious home, with a warm family feel. Led by kindness, compassion and dignity, the dedicated staff at Hermitage House, provide the kind of care we would want all of our loved ones to receive.
