Devaranama Workshop at Kalamshu – Part of 20 Years of Musical Celebration
Kalamshu the well-known centre for Indian classical arts announces a special Devaranama Workshop beginning October 19 2025 to be held over eight weekends. The workshop is open to all ages and aims to introduce participants to the rich heritage of devotional compositions that form the soul of Karnataka’s musical tradition. The workshop will be conducted by Mrs. Akhila D. Bhat who has been extensively trained in singing devotional songs at Dharmasthala Karnataka.
Founded and nurtured by Vidushi Supriya Hariprasad and Dr. Kirthana Kunikullaya Kalamshu has been a vibrant hub for music and dance education for the past 20 years. This workshop is being organized as part of Kalamshu’s 20th-year celebrations reflecting the institute’s enduring commitment to preserving and promoting classical and devotional music.
Participants will learn sing and experience the essence of bhakti sangeetha in a joyful community-based environment.

ಕಲಾಂಶುದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರನಾಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರ – ೨೦ ನೇ ವರ್ಷದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ
ಭಾರತೀಯ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಕಲೆಗಳ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿರುವ ಕಲಾಂಶು ವತಿಯಿಂದ ವಿಶೇಷ ದೇವರನಾಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ ೧೯ ೨೦೨೫ ರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವು ಎಂಟು ವಾರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದು ಎಲ್ಲ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಸಂಗೀತಾಸಕ್ತರಿಗೂ ಮುಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಭಕ್ತಿ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ರತ್ನವಾದ ದೇವರನಾಮಗಳ ಕಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅಖಿಲಾ ಡಿ. ಭಟ್ ಅವರು ನಡೆಸಲಿದ್ದು ಅವರು ಧರ್ಮಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತಿಗೀತೆಗಳ ಗಾಯನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ವಿದುಷಿ ಸುಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಹರಿಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಡಾ. ಕೀರ್ತನಾ ಕುಣಿಕುಳ್ಳಾಯ ಇವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದ ೨೦ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕಲಾಂಶು ಸಂಗೀತ ಮತ್ತು ನೃತ್ಯದ ತರಬೇತಿಯ ಪ್ರಬಲ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ದೇವರನಾಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವು ಕಲಾಂಶು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ೨೦ನೇ ವರ್ಷದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಾಚರಣೆಗಳ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿದೆ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಭಕ್ತಿ ಸಂಗೀತದ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಲು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಭಕ್ತಿ ಸಂಗೀತದ ಆನಂದವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಲು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಸ್ವಾಗತ.
